Motorsports in Nigeria - Hall of Fame
Motorsports in Nigeria is not popular but currently, lots of efforts have been channelled into the sports to make it more prominent, there have not been much of achievements or competitions that Nigeria has engaged in but notwithstanding, Nigeria has been represented by in a championship by Ovie Iroro.
Ovie Iroro was born in the year 1992 and graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering of University College London. Ovie is the first ever Nigerian indigene to compete in the British Formula Ford Championship for both Formula Renault and Formula Ford Championship.
Ovie entered the world of car racing at a very young age; in December 2010, he competed in the very first Go-Karting Championship in Lagos where he got a winning award.
